WARNINGS - ESSENTIAL OILS
-
Using undiluted essential oils on sensitive skin or mucous membranes can cause irritation and burns. Susceptible people may also experience an allergic reaction and skin rash - if you notice any of these signs, stop using essential oils immediately. We recommend that you first perform a test on the inner crease of the elbow and wait 24 hours to ensure that you do not have an allergic skin reaction.
-
If you apply the essential oil directly to the skin, we recommend that you mix it in a carrier oil (jojoba, almond, argan or any other vegetable oil) and prepare a mixture of essential oil diluted to 5%.
-
In pregnant womenand younger children, we recommend using essential oils after the previous oneconsultation with personal doctors. Never allow children to use essential oils without the presence of an adult who is familiar with their use.
-
Essential oils oxidize over time and can become more irritating. Essential oils do not become rancid and do not actually have a strict expiration date, but over time they can oxidize, deteriorate, and gradually lose their therapeutic value and aromatic quality. The lifespan of essential oils can vary greatly. Avoid using old or improperly stored essential oils for therapeutic purposes. You can extend the shelf life of essential oils by storing them in dark glass bottles with tightly closed caps and keeping them in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place - away from sunlight.
-
Essential oils are flammable. Keep them away from the risk of fire.
